THE TOPSHAM LoT VOLUNTEER GROUP
As well as being sociable and good fun, there is also the satisfaction of providing a service to the community that has an important role to play in reducing waste and clutter.
WE’D LOVE YOU TO JOIN THE TOPSHAM LoT How much time you could give is entirely up to you. If you’re the creative type, practical or an organised person then there’s a role you could play.
There are four key areas of the project that you might like to consider–
1. THE TOPSHAM LoT OPERATIONS GROUP
Developing ideas, managing the project and volunteers. Publicity, PR & Social Media. Accounts and Funding Sources
2. DONATIONS TEAM
Mainly a matter of keeping you ear to the ground for new items that are in reasonable condition and likely to prove popular to hire.
3. WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA
Photographing new items and adding details to the website. We’ll show you how but it’s all a pretty straight forward process.

4. STORES AND MAINTENANCE
The store will be open on Saturday mornings for three hours 10am – 1pm. We are building a small team who between them can organise their own rota for managing the fort.
We’ll also need a few who have practical knowledge and who can can be trained to test electrical items (we will pay for a short on-line course). WE ALSO WORK CLOSELY WITH TOPSHAM REPAIR CAFE and can organise repairs when needed.
